The NEUST College of Architecture (CoArch) upskilled the skills of its students on the proper installation of gypsum boards in a two-day workshop held at the CoArch compound, Sumacab Campus, Cabanatuan City, January 24-25, 2025.
The training, in collaboration with Knauf Academy Philippines, trained the students on how to identify the different types of gypsum boards, the components of a standard drywall partition and ceiling system, and the methodology of drywall and ceiling installation to avoid damages and wastages.
Ar. Gregorio Villaviza Jr., CoArch Dean, encouraged students to apply their new skills and thanked Knauf Academy for this collaboration.
Atty. Bembol DL. Castillo, Vice President for Administration, Business, and Finance (VPABF); Ar. Fernando C. Nagayo Jr., CoArch Academic Unit Head; and other CoArch faculty members joined the event with Ar. Charles Ramos, Knauf Academy Training Team head, who served as the speaker during the workshop.
