GS VIRTUAL ORIENTATION PROGRAM
The NEUST Graduate School headed by its Dean, Dr. Jocelyn B. Cruz, conducted its Virtual Orientation Program on March 12, 2021. It aimed to provide the GS students complete information regarding the GS Academic program, services, and people behind its successful operation.
Before the orientation proper, Dr. Jocelyn B. Cruz, dean of the Graduate School, delivered her opening message to welcome the old and new students as well as the faculty and the department heads of the Graduate School. After which, the Director of the International, Domestic, and Institutional Linkages Office, Atty. Eric G. Claudio, gave his welcome message. In his message, he gave emphasis on the international partnership between the NEUST Graduate School and the Ministry of Education in Mainland China which has been accredited by the Philippine Commission on Higher Education. Other inspiring messages were also conveyed by the University President, Dr. Feliciana P. Jacoba, Dr. Honorato P. Panahon (Executive Vice President), Dr. Rhodora R. Jugo (VPAA), and Dr. Rachael Moralde (VPRET).
For the students to be familiarized with the GS services, Faculty, and Administration, the department chairs presented a video to show all their programs, projects, and activities academically and non-academically. They are as follows:

To conclude the online activity, the Training Department Director, Dr. Jo Neil Peria gave his closing remarks. Dr. Vladmir Tamayo and Ms. Jiezel Alacantara served as the program’s moderators.
The virtual program was made possible thru the initiative of the GS Guidance Office headed by Dr. Clarinda A. Reyes who also promoted the CAS Social and Behavioral Sciences Program entitled “Tara Usap Tayo FB page” which is open for all. (PMAO)
