In observance of the 1st National Higher Education Day and 27th CHED Founding Anniversary, a special activity was launched with its title “PADYAK sa EXTENSION and PRODUCTIVITY”. Its goal was to showcase the “Best Practices and Initiatives” of the Higher Education Institutions in mitigating the effects of Covid-19 in the area of Extension and Productivity using videos.
Among the different HEI participants, NEUST was awarded as one of the Top 1 Universities with best practices and initiatives in mitigating the effects of Covid-19 in the area of Extension and Productivity using videos.
Another award received by the University was the Netizens’ Choice Award regarding the video entry. The basis for the selection of winners was the number of accumulated “HEART and CARE” reactions from the netizens. The voting started on May 17, 2021 and ended on May 20, 2021, 1:00PM. Fortunately, our University got the second place.
