With reference to Proclamation No. 1169, June 24 to July 3, 2021 has been declared as a period of “National Mourning” for the untimely demise of the Former Philippine President, His Excellency, Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” C. Aquino III on June 24, 2021. This signals that the national flag shall be flown at half-mast as a sign of respect and recognition for the great contributions of the former President in the Philippines.

The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, headed by its President, Dr. Feliciana P. Jacoba, joins the entire nation in mourning the passing of an eminent president who was fondly called “PNOY” during his term.
