The first three days of the Institutional Accreditation had been full of learnings and insights from the visiting accreditors. As the university moved forward to the 4th day of institutional accreditation, the excitement and strong will power of the IA task force and the whole community of NEUST had led them to be a productive team having a culture of trust, collaboration, and commitment.
In the morning of September 22, 2022, the accreditors led by Dr. Raul F. Muyong, the team leader and lead accreditor of Area I, made a campus tour with the University President, Dr. Feliciana P. Jacoba, Dr. Honorato P. Panahon (VPABF), Dr. Rhodora R. Jugo (VPAA), and Dr. Rachael R. Moralde (VPRET). After the campus tour, Dr. Muyong called for a face-to-face meeting to discuss things concerning Area I, specifically the University’s organizational chart. For a more comprehensive discussion of the chart, Dr. Panahon further explained it for a clearer understanding. The IA task force Area 1 members showed indivisibility while Dr. Muyong was checking and validating all the prepared documents.
Simultaneously, Dr. Edgardo E. Tulin (Lead Accreditor of Areas VIII and IX) also requested for a campus tour to inspect the physical facilities of the NEUST Sumacab Campus. After which, a meeting was held with Areas VIII and IX task force for consultation and discussion of the presented documents and inspected physical facilities of Sumacab campus.
The 4th day of the institutional accreditation went smoothly with the constant monitoring and supervision of Pres. Jacoba along with the three vice presidents, Dr. Panahon, Dr. Jugo, and Dr. Moralde. It is true that success is possible to achieve if everybody is working together as a team. As what Helen Keller said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
