On September 10, 2024, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) recognized Dr. Feliciana P. Jacoba, former President and current Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), as a Regional Winner under the Pagasa Award (Individual Category) in the 2024 Search for Outstanding Government Workers (SOGW) at The Orchids Gardens in San Fernando, Pampanga, highlighting the CSC’s dedication to celebrating exemplary civil service performance through its Honor Awards Program (HAP).
The CSCโs Honor Awards Program is a key initiative aimed at recognizing the contributions of public servants who have exhibited outstanding dedication, leadership, and excellence in their roles. The program is grounded in the Philippine Constitution and the Administrative Code of 1987. It emphasizes the government’s commitment to acknowledging and inspiring public servants to fulfill their duties with integrity and professionalism.
The award was personally presented to Dr. Feliciana P. Jacoba by Atty. Ryan Alvin R. Acosta, CSC Commissioner, Atty. Rosalinda A. Tanaliga-Oliva, Acting Director IV of CSC Regional Office 3, Mr. Edgardo C. Cruz, Acting Director III of CSC Regional Office 3, and Maj. Eleanor M.
