The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) has earned “Reporter Status” in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025, as announced on October 9, 2024.
NEUST is among 2,857 universities worldwide that participated in the rankings, with 765 institutions awarded “Reporter” status. This recognition is given to universities that actively provide data to the rankings process but have not been ranked this year.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings are regarded as the most comprehensive global performance tables that assess research-intensive universities across their core missions, which include teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.
Participating universities were evaluated based on a detailed set of performance indicators, grouped into five key areas: Teaching (the learning environment); Research Environment (volume, income, and reputation); Research Quality (citation impact, research strength, excellence, and influence); International Outlook (staff, students, and research); and Industry (income and patents).
NEUSTโs recognition as a “Reporter” university reflects its active participation in the global ranking process, which not only enhances its visibility in the international academic community but also strengthens its reputation on the global stage.
This milestone aligns with the universityโs vision of becoming a globally renowned institution, committed to producing globally outstanding graduates and transforming communities towards inclusive progress.
