The NEUST Laboratory High School (LHS) combatted bullying to promote a safer environment during a seminar held at the Doรฑa Asuncion G. Romulo Memorial Hall, January 23, 2024.
LHS students and faculty members attended the โ#RespetoNaman: Online man o Harapan, Maging Mabuti at Ligtas sa Loob ng Pamantasanโ that featured topics on anti-bullying.
Atty. Christine Joyce Melchor, resource speaker, discussed the forms of bullying, its causes, effects, and strategies to help victims protect themselves and create a safer environment.ย
Atty. Melchor also emphasized the importance of seeking support from friends, family, or counselors and standing firm in asserting oneโs rights while ensuring personal safety.
Meanwhile, Dr. Maria Fe Blas, LHS Principal, quoted Mahatma Gandhi in her message, saying: โYou may never know what results come from your actions, but if you do nothing, there will be no results.โ
