GUIMBA, Nueva Ecija โ The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Colleges (OLSHCo) of Guimba, Inc. formalized on February 6, 2025 their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that aims to strengthen collaboration in research, academic development, and community empowerment.
NEUST President Dr. Rhodora R. Jugo and OLSHCo President Rev. Fr. Michael Grospe, PhD, led the MOA signing of the partnership established under NEUSTโs Globalized Research-Based Extension and Training through the Comprehensive Program for Empowerment and Development (GREAT-COPED) framework.
Dr. Jugo emphasized the alignment of the agreement with NEUSTโs commitment to Bridging Communities under the NEUST GLOBAL framework, saying: โThis MOA is a concrete proof of our direction. NEUST is committed to assisting your institution through strategic engagement, leveraging world-class knowledge and solutions from our pool of experts and practitioners.โ
Meanwhile, Rev. Fr. Grospe highlighted the shared vision for sustainable education and community development stating that โthis collaboration reflects our commitment to equipping individuals with both knowledge and the tools necessary to create lasting change.โ
Among those present from NEUST were Dr. Jocelyn B. Cruz, Dean of the Graduate School; Dr. Analyn Gamit, Director of the Quality Assurance Office; Dr. Allen Paul Esteban, Chairperson of RET; Dr. Nancy Joy Mangansat, Director of Curriculum Development and Evaluation; Dr. Miguel Santos, former Chair of NEUST Graduate School Math and Science; Dr. Lorinda Pascual, Chair of Mathematics Education; and Dr. Helen Grace Angeles, Faculty in Math Education.
Representatives from OLSHCO were Mr. Narcy F. Ador Dionisio Sr., Vice President for Academic Affairs; Filipina Salirungan, SFIC, CARE Coordinator; Dr. Rubelyn M. Esperon, Chair of Tertiary Studies; Ms. Marissa G. Onosa, MAEd – Integrated Basic Education; Dr. Julieta L. Adriano, Principal; and Technical Education Specialist.
