President Jugo leads the groundbreaking ceremony for SIC-Tabon Campus Training Center

NEUST President Dr. Rhodora Jugo spearheaded the groundbreaking ceremony on February 17, 2025, marking the commencement of the first phase of construction for a four-story Training Center at the NEUST San Isidro – Tabon Campus in San Isidro, Nueva Ecija.

The first phase, scheduled for completion by September 26, 2025, will include a complete structural framework up to the third-floor slab and three fully functional training halls on the ground floor.

“This is truly a dream for the San Isidro Campus. Just as there are no second-class citizens among our employees and students, there should be no second-class status when it comes to the infrastructure of the different campuses,” Dr. Jugo emphasized during her address.

Key university officials attended the ceremony including Vice President for Administration, Business, and Finance Atty. Bembol Castillo; Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training Dr. Jean Guillasper; Training Services Department Director Dr. Marilou Pascual; Infrastructure Development Office (IDO) Director Engr. Allan Abenoja, Jr.; Building Maintenance and Office of the General and Auxiliary Services Director Engr. Sherwin Allado; and San Isidro Campus (SIC) Director Dr. Pastora De Guzman.

Personnel from the IDO, Planning and Development Office, SIC faculty and staff, and representatives from I.L. Sta. Maria Construction, the project’s contractor, were also present.

The Training Center is expected to enhance campus facilities, providing a conducive environment for training programs and academic growth, underscoring NEUST’s commitment to equitable resources and opportunities across its campuses.
