OSAS, USG join Asian leadership camp in Singapore

The NEUST University Student Government (USG) and the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) participated in the 12th Asian Youth Leaders Travel and Learning Camp (AYLTLC) held at the National University of Singapore and the Lifelong Learning Institute on February 12-17, 2025.

The USG delegation included Dan Richard Dela Cruz, president; John Sebastian Mangilin, vice president; Mark Angelo Tolentino; and Angelica Joy Mendiola, together with Dr. Ma. Lourdes Quijano, OSAS Dean; Dr. Racquel Pula, Head of the Office of Student Organizations, Activities, and Development (OSOAD); and Dr. Roberto V. Reyes Jr., USG Adviser.

The student representatives earned recognition for the University where Dela Cruz was part of the Team of the Year 2025 and received the Most Outstanding Award 2025; Mangilin, Team of the Year 2025 and Most Creative Award; Tolentino, Team of the Year 2025, Most Outstanding Award 2025, and Outstanding Youth Leader Award; and Mendiola, Best Content Award.

The AYLTLC is an annual international event that gathers young leaders from various countries to develop their leadership skills, broaden their intercultural understanding, and build networks with peers from different backgrounds.

According to one of the delegates, NEUST’s participation and achievements in the AYLTLC highlight its dedication to producing globally competitive students who excel in leadership and innovation. 

“The University remains committed to fostering both intellectual growth and character development, equipping its students to make meaningful contributions to society at both national and international levels,” she added.
