NEUST assures quality and excellence on its Off-Campuses Accreditation through QA-Active Training Workshop
The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) Quality Assurance Office conducted a seminar-workshop titled “QA-Active Training Workshop: Advancing Accreditation and Service Quality Excellence for LGU Partners” on February 7, 2025, at the Mini Convention Center, NEUST Sumacab Campus.
The training, which will run for two months, follows a hybrid setup consisting of consultations, validations, and efficiency-focused sessions. The initial session served as an orientation to familiarize participants with the necessary documents for each accreditation area and guide them in the preparation process.
Atty. Eric Claudio, Director of Southern Nueva Ecija Off-Campuses and University International Affairs Office, delivered the opening remarks, underscoring the university’s dedication to enhancing its off-campus programs’ quality, excellence, and accreditation standards.
In her statement of purpose, Dr. Analyn Gamit emphasized that the training is designed to ensure the success of the university’s upcoming accreditation visits.
“Accreditation is not merely about providing documents and showcasing achievements; it serves as tangible proof of excellence and quality service,” Dr. Gamit stressed as she reminded participants of the importance of the process.
The seminar-workshop was attended by representatives from NEUST’s Southern Nueva Ecija Off-Campuses, including Gen. Tinio (Papaya) Off-Campus, San Antonio Off-Campus, and San Leonardo Off-Campus, with two delegates per area.
The training covered ten accreditation areas, each facilitated by designated trainers:
Area 1 – Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMGO): Dr. Joy Savellano
Area 2 – Faculty: Dr. Joy Savellano
Area 3 – Curriculum and Instruction: Dr. Joannie Galano
Area 4 – Support to Students: Dr. Jennifer Fronda
Area 5 – Research: Dr. Angelo Santos
Area 6 – Extension and Community Involvement: Dr. Analyn Gamit
Area 7 – Library: Ms. Eufrocena Lucas
Area 8 – Physical Plant and Facilities: Ms. Rodibelle F. Leona
Area 9 – Laboratories: Mr. Bren Bondoc
Area 10 – Administration: Dr. Arjhel Domingo
The training workshop provided participants with in-depth knowledge of accreditation processes, equipping them with the skills necessary to meet accreditation requirements effectively.
Through initiatives like this, NEUST continues to uphold its commitment to quality service, academic excellence, and accreditation standards across all its campuses, including off-campus sites, ensuring continuous improvement and institutional development.
