The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) College of Education (COED) welcomed delegates from Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU), Vietnam for the Faculty and Student Exchange Program during a ceremony held on March 4, 2025, at Rico Fajardo Hall, NEUST Sumacab Campus.
NEUST Vice President for Academic Affairs Engr. Feliciana Jacoba highlighted the program’s role in enriching educational experiences through intercultural learning.
“The faculty exchange program between NEUST and DNTU aims to enhance educational experiences by exposing faculty and students to diverse teaching methodologies and academic practices,” Dr. Jacoba said.
The DNTU delegation included Ha Thi Yen Nhi, a lecturer in the university’s English Program, along with four English Language students—Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Truong Nguyen Yen Nhu, Nguyen Anh Thu, and Le Hoang Yen Nhi—who will undergo an internship program with NEUST COED until March 16, 2025.
Atty. Eric Claudio, Director of the Office of International Affairs, underscored the importance of expanding collaborations beyond the College of Education and the value of cultural exchange in broadening students’ and faculty members’ global perspectives.
Meanwhile, Dr. Jo Neil Peria, Dean of the College of Education, encouraged participants to maximize learning opportunities and cultivate meaningful academic and cultural connections.
“Through this exchange program, NEUST reaffirms its commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration through global academic engagements,” Dr. Peria stated.
Attended by COED faculty and staff, the event reinforces NEUST’s dedication to academic excellence, cultural exchange, and global engagement.
