NEUST kicks off 27th Charter Celebration, 117th Founding Anniversary

The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) officially commenced its 27th Charter Celebration and 117th Founding Anniversary today at the NEUST Sumacab Campus.

The celebration began with an Ecumenical and Thanksgiving Mass, followed by an opening ceremony led by University President Dr. Rhodora Jugo.

In her speech, Dr. Jugo highlighted NEUST’s legacy of excellence, stating, “NEUST has shaped generations of leaders, scholars, and professionals who continue to drive positive change in society.” She also called on the community to honor the university’s history while striving for greater achievements in the future.

Key highlights of the event included the blessing of new facilities, such as the Service Area of the Mini Convention Center, Rizal Park, the University Closed Gymnasium, and Flood Control Projects, along with the blessing of five new university vehicles, marking the institution’s ongoing progress.

The week-long festivities will also feature a variety of activities, including the Administration and Faculty (ADFA) Sports Fest, Teknovation Exhibit, Color Fun Run, Alumni Activities, and Student Competitions such as the Food Innovation Contest, Street Painting Contest, Booth Competition, Bench Yell Competition, and the Mr. and Ms. NEUST 2025 pageant, alongside the LCADC Cultural Show.

The week-long event, themed “Harmonizing Diversity: Building Bridges for a Global Future,” is organized by the Laboratory High School (LHS) and the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).
