NEUST strengthens global ties through faculty and student exchange with Vietnam’s DNTU
The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) College of Education (COED) has embarked on a landmark faculty and student exchange program with Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) in Vietnam, reinforcing its commitment to international academic collaboration under the NEUST GLOBAL framework.
The exchange program, which began on April 1, 2025, marks a significant step in NEUST’s global linkages and fosters cross-cultural learning, supporting the NEUST GLOBAL initiative championed by University President Dr. Rhodora Jugo in pursuit of the university’s vision to become a globally renowned institution.
On April 2, 2025, DNTU formally welcomed the NEUST delegation during an opening ceremony at its campus, where Dr. Vu Thinh Truong, Director of International Affairs at DNTU, emphasized the importance of international collaborations in enhancing academic and research excellence.
Dr. Eric Claudio, NEUST’s Director of International Affairs, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to strengthen ties between the two institutions, while Dr. Truong Trong Nhan, Vice Dean of DNTU’s Faculty of Foreign Languages, introduced the participating officials, faculty, and students from NEUST.
The NEUST delegation comprises Dr. Jo Neil Peria, Dean of the COED; Dr. Analiza Tanghal, COED Focal Person for Internationalization; Engr. Allan Abenoja Jr., Director of the Infrastructure Development Office (IDO); and student representatives Neil Emilson Santiago, Ramon Ventura Jr., Loizel Gwyneth Sonza, John David Andres, and Denille Maverick Erguiza.
From April 1 to 18, 2025, participants will engage in lectures, research discussions, and cultural immersion activities, fostering academic and professional growth.
This exchange underscores NEUST’s dedication to internationalization, research collaboration, and cultural exchange by partnering with institutions like DNTU, thereby enhancing opportunities for faculty and students to gain global perspectives and cross-cultural competencies.
The program is expected to pave the way for future joint research initiatives, academic partnerships, and expanded exchange opportunities, further establishing NEUST as a leading globally connected university.
