Spotlight on Service: NEUST rolls out red carpet for NTP

Honoring the silent movers who keep the University running strong behind the scenes, the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) put the non-teaching personnel in the spotlight during the celebration of National Education Support Personnel Day on May 16, 2025, at the NEUST Closed Gym, Sumacab Campus.

Dubbed as NTP Day 2025, the event highlighted the talents and well-being of the non-teaching personnel (NTP) through recognitions, fun games, and a videoke challenge, allowing them to showcase their skills and take a break from their daily duties.

NEUST President Rhodora Jugo underscored the critical role of the support personnel in the day-to-day operations of the University, recognizing their efforts, contributions, and dedication.

Spearheaded by the Non-Teaching Personnel Association, Inc. (NTPAI) under President Jomarie Manalus and the NEUST Human Resource Management Office led by Jenna Ilustre, with support from the NEUST Administration and the NEUST Faculty and Staff Union (FSU), the program was attended by non-teaching staff such as registrars, librarians, nurses, clerks, and other professionals who assist students and teachers in educational institutions.

Republic Act No. 12178, or the “National Education Support Personnel Day Act,” recognizes the vital role of Education Support Personnel in ensuring quality education by highlighting their contributions to creating safe learning environments and supporting schools’ effective operations.
