NEUST CART boosts service excellence thru frontline inspection
In line with the national observance of Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month, the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) reaffirmed its commitment to quality public service by participating in the Nationwide Frontline Service Inspection spearheaded by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA).
NEUST, through Atty. Bembol Castillo, Vice President for Administration, Business, and Finance, and Chairperson of the University Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART), conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Office of Admission and Registration at the Sumacab Campus.
To ensure that all services rendered to clients are delivered with the highest standards of professionalism, efficiency, and accessibility, the Committee evaluated various aspects of frontline service delivery, including compliance with the Citizen’s Charter, adherence to prescribed processing times, the responsiveness and professionalism of personnel, the functionality of the public assistance and complaint desks, and the presence of clear and effective feedback mechanisms.
They also reviewed queue management practices, service area organization, accessibility and client-friendliness of university facilities, and the overall experience and perception of clients engaging with the University’s services.
“Under the leadership of our beloved University President, Dr. Rhodora Jugo, NEUST continues to strive for faster and better public service for everyone,” said Engr. Christopher Ladignon, Head of the Regulatory and Performance Compliance Unit and ARTA focal person for the university.
“NEUST is committed to delivering an enhanced service experience to all clients. We prioritize continuous improvement through the dedication of our professional and responsive staff, as well as by ensuring comfortable and client-friendly facilities,” said. Engr. Ladignon.
Joining the inspection were key university officials, including Myra Concepcion, University Chief Administrative Officer, Dr. Kenneth Armas, Director of the Planning and Development Office, and Jenna Kristel Ilustre, Human Resource Management Officer, alongside members of the CART team.
The Nationwide Frontline Service Inspection is a government-wide initiative led by ARTA to ensure that government institutions uphold transparency, efficiency, and responsiveness in serving the public.
