“With consistent access to updated and organized data, school leaders and policymakers can design and adjust school programs and policies based on actual needs and real outcomes,” the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) President Dr. Rhodora Jugo said as she delivered her keynote address in the Global Multidisciplinary Conference on Artificial Intelligence held from April 30- May 4, 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Organized by the International Cross-Cultural Exchange and Professional Development (ICPED) Thailand, the conference focused on “Shaping Innovations in Education, Research, Classroom Practices, Management, and Leadership,” bringing together educators, researchers, and institutional representatives from multiple countries.
In her speech, Dr. Jugo emphasized the vital role of artificial intelligence in modernizing educational systems, streamlining institutional processes, and enhancing data-driven decision-making in academic administration.
Her message called for educational leaders to embrace digital innovations to remain adaptive and competitive in the evolving global landscape.
A key outcome of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between NEUST and ICEPD Thailand, which outlines future collaboration in academic exchange programs, joint research efforts, and professional development activities.
MOU signatories included Dr. Jugo; Dr. Rommel Espejo, NEUST Director of the Institute of Linguistics and Literature; Ajarn Anong Sookasem, CEO of ICEPD Thailand; and Dr. Rolando Emilio Socorro, ICEPD Administrative Officer.
NEUST was also represented by Dr. Alfredo Esteban Jr. and Marites Geronimo, who presented their research during the conference sessions.
The event coincided with the 7th founding anniversary of ICEPD Thailand.
