The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) charted a new territory in the digital world after being recognized as the first-ever Level 4 partner-owned facility of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in the country.
According to University President Dr. Rhodora Jugo, this recognition is a strong show of support for the efforts of NEUST to become a leading institution in innovation and digital transformation.
βDICTβs partnership helps us create a more future-ready and technologically empowered academic community as NEUST aims to become a SMART University, a dream that we would like to share with you as our partner,β said President Jugo.
NEUST Innovation Hubs composed of the Technohub, Robotics Center, and Data Center have been recognized as a Level 4 Digital Transformation Center (DTC) facility by the DICT ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau (ILCDB), after passing the rigid technical validation and site inspection on April 24, 2025.
In his message, Engr. Antonio Edward Padre, Regional Director of DICT Region III, underscored the importance of collaboration between NEUST and DICT in advancing digital infrastructure and technological innovation within the university.
