NEUST is making strides as a premier institution for benchmarking!
The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) continues to serve as a model institution for benchmarking activities of other state universities and colleges as well as private institutions and government agencies.
With effective service delivery for non-teaching personnel (NTP) at the forefront, NEUST welcomed the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – North La Union Campus (DMMMSU-NLUC) during its benchmarking visit at NEUST Sumacab Campus on June 5, 2025.
The activity centered on NEUST’s operational frameworks, employee benefits, functions, and organizational practices of the NEUST Non-Teaching Personnel Association, Inc. (NTPAI).
A knowledge-sharing session was also held through an open forum between the two institutions, emphasizing personnel management strategies and staff development initiatives.
According to Jomarie Manalus, President of NTPAI, NEUST is grateful for serving as a model in promoting excellence, especially in non-teaching personnel management.
“On behalf of the NEUST community, I sincerely thank DMMMSU for their continued confidence in NEUST as a model of comprehensive service delivery across all areas of a state university,” said Jomarie Manalus, President of NEUST-NTPAI.
He also recognized the support of the university’s leadership, saying, “We are also grateful to the NEUST administration, led by President Rhodora R. Jugo, for their unwavering commitment to the welfare of every university employee and student.”
Meanwhile, Dr. Sonia Siago, President of the DMMMSU-NLUC NTP, expressed her appreciation to NEUST for its hospitality and openness to share its established systems.
“We are greatly fortunate to be welcomed by such a forward-thinking institution. The insights we gained here will help us improve our own practices,” she said.
