In a continuing effort to advance internationalization and foster global academic partnerships, the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) welcomed delegates from Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) of Vietnam for an academic exchange visit on June 23–24, 2025, at Rico Fajardo Hall, NEUST Sumacab Campus.
Spearheaded by the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Nursing (CON), and College of Management and Business Technology (CMBT), the visit featured collaborative discussions on student and faculty exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and shared strategies for institutional development.
In her welcome message, Dr. Sarah Alvarez, Dean of CMBT, underscored the value of international academic cooperation, saying, “This visit is more than just a formal exchange—it is a meaningful step in building lasting partnerships. We believe that international collaboration enhances education, research, and cultural understanding for both institutions.”
Atty. Eric Claudio, Director of the Office of International Affairs, also highlighted the growing collaboration between NEUST and DNTU, affirming the university’s commitment to long-term global engagement.
“The partnership between NEUST and DNTU continues to strengthen. We are confident that joint initiatives and exchange programs will bring long-term benefits to both institutions,” he said.
DNTU’s delegation was composed of key academic officials: MSc. Ho Thi Ngoc Nhung, MSc. Nguyen Thi Nu, MSc. Truong Thi Giang, Ms. Pham Thi Mong, and Ms. Tran Thi Minh Ngoc.
The two-day engagement included campus tours at Sumacab and General Tinio campuses, where delegates explored NEUST’s educational facilities, including specialized laboratories at the College of Nursing and College of Industrial Technology.
This academic exchange signifies a vital milestone in NEUST’s internationalization journey, reinforcing its mission to deliver globally competitive education and collaborative research.
