LHS kicks off school year with Student-Parent Orientation
The College of Education – Laboratory High School (COEd-LHS) of the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) held an orientation program for incoming Grade 7 students and their parents on July 2, 2025, at the Doña Asuncion G. Romulo Memorial Hall.
With the theme “Nourishing the Mind, Nurturing the Heart, Leading the Future,” the event introduced attendees to the school’s academic programs, policies, and support services, ensuring a smooth transition into junior high school.
Faculty members, administrative staff, and school leaders were present to explain the curriculum, grading system, student responsibilities, and extracurricular activities while also highlighting the school’s emphasis on character development and leadership.
Dr. Nowel Ramos, Junior High School Program Head, discussed school guidelines and policies, stressing the importance of student safety and collaboration between parents and teachers.
“We don’t want any harm to come to your children. Let’s work together to ensure their safety,” he said.
Parents had the opportunity to ask questions, while students met their advisers and teachers to prepare for the upcoming school year.
The orientation reinforced NEUST’s commitment to quality and inclusive education, shaping students into competent future leaders.
