Dr. Theresa Dela Cruz, Director of the Sports Development Office, and Dr. Jeniffer Amaranto, Director of the Institute of Physical Education, emerged as champions in the Badminton 36–45 Women’s Doubles category during the Association of State Colleges and Universities- Solid North (ASCU-SN) 2025 Midyear Culture and Athletics Festival held at the Benguet State University Gymnasium.

Representing NEUST, the faculty duo clinched the title after winning against Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) in the finals.

Dela Cruz and Amaranto advanced to the championship round after a series of matches against Tarlac State University (TSU), Pangasinan State University (PSU), and Isabela State University (ISU), and secured a semifinal win over Benguet State University (BSU).

This accomplishment contributes to NEUST’s continued participation and performance in regional athletic events, reflecting the university’s active involvement in both sports and faculty development.
