The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), under the leadership of President Dr. Rhodora Jugo, has deepened its commitment to quality and inclusive education by joining the Department of Education – Schools Division of Cabanatuan City in the ARAL Stakeholders’ Convergence held on September 5, 2025, at Luzviminda’s Event Center, Cabanatuan City.
Representing NEUST were faculty members from the College of Education (COED)—Dr. Reynaldo Ilumin, Dr. Dona De Guzman, and College Dean Dr. Jo Niel Peria—who joined other stakeholders in a united effort to support the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program.
Anchored on the theme “One with ARAL: A Collective Commitment to Every Learner,” the convergence gathered education partners, LGUs, NGOs, parents, teachers, and community leaders to address learning gaps and promote accessible and equitable education.
As a partner institution, NEUST-COED is set to contribute to the implementation of the ARAL Program by deploying faculty members as trainers through its extension initiatives, with a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) expected to be signed within the year.
The ARAL Program is a national intervention designed to help K to 10 learners master essential competencies in reading, mathematics, and science.
This collaboration reflects NEUST’s mission to transform communities towards inclusive progress.
