In support of aspiring teachers preparing for the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology – College of Education (NEUST COED), in partnership with the Moral Recovery and Spiritual Uplift Program (MRSUP), organized a special send-off mass today, September 18, 2025.
Held at the Ecumenical Chapel, Sumacab Campus, the event was attended by University President Dr. Rhodora Jugo, faculty members, staff, and students of the College of Education.
The Eucharistic celebration was led by Rev. Fr. William S. Villaviza, Director of Liturgical Music and Priest Residence at the Mother of Perpetual Help Parish, who reminded the future educators of the noble mission that lies ahead of them.
“Saan ka man makarating, your mission as a future teacher is universal,” he said.
President Jugo, who graced the event with her presence and message of support, urged the examinees to uphold the highest ideals of the teaching profession, saying, “Kapag kayo ay naging ganap na at licensed teachers, ipangako ninyo na kayo ay magiging mabubuti at mapagkalingang mga guro.”
The send-off mass aimed to not only bless the LET takers for success in the upcoming board examination but also to inspire them to remain committed to service, integrity, and compassion in their future roles as educators.
As the exam date nears, the entire NEUST community extends its prayers and support to all LET takers, confident in their preparation and passion to serve through education.
