In preparation for the upcoming SCUAA III Meet 2026, the State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) Region III Board of Members (BOM) convened at the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) Mini Convention Center, Sumacab Campus, for a three-day meeting held on September 15 to 17, 2025, to finalize plans and key directives for the regional games that NEUST will host in February.

During the meeting, the board tackled key agenda items, including the financial report on both regional and national SCUAA, the finalization of the SCUAA III Constitution and By-Laws, and the SUC III Implementing Rules and Regulations.

In line with these discussions, members also reviewed the submission of first enrollment data, confirmation of entries per event, nomination of sports commitment awardees, budget proposals,  schedule of athlete screenings, and the official SCUAA theme song.

The assembly gathered university and college leaders, including NEUST President Dr. Rhodora Jugo, Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) President Dr. Anita David, NEUST Sports Director and SCUAA III BOM Chairperson Dr. Maria Theresa Dela Cruz, Bulacan State University (BulSU) Sports Director Dr. Emilio Cruz, Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA) Sports Director 2/O. Robert Villaflores, Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) Sports Director Prof. Joseph Avellanoza, Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA) Sports Director Prof. Melchor Balauag, Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) Sports Director Prof. Jenifer Carandang, Pampanga State University (PSU) Sports Director Dr. Eddiebal Layco, Tarlac State University (TSU) Representative Dr. George De Vera, PSAU Sports Director Dr. Jeronie Baltazar, and Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Sports Director Dr. Emerson Cuzzamu, along with NEUST Executive Secretary and SCUAA III BOM Secretary Dr. Alfredo Esteban and NEUST Institute of Physical Education Director and SCUAA III BOM Treasurer Dr. Jeniffer Amaranto.

This gathering marked the third official meeting of the board as they work collectively to ensure the efficient management of the SCUAA III Meet 2026 at the NEUST.
