The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) College of Management and Business Technology (CMBT) conducted a two-day workshop on statistics on September 17–18, 2025, at the Mini Convention Center, Sumacab Campus, Cabanatuan City.

Titled β€œStatistics Made Easy: A Student’s Guide to Statistics with Workshop,” the activity served as a refresher course for third-year Business Administration students, focusing on Statistics for Business Research to help them review and retool in preparation for their academic requirements.

In her message, Dr. Sarah Alvarez, Dean of the CMBT, emphasized the importance of statistics in business, noting that data analysis serves as the basis for sound decision-making both in organizations and in life.

The sessions were facilitated by Dr. Jaynelle Domingo and Dr. Julius Jay Rodriguez, faculty members of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), who delivered lectures under the theme β€œStatistics Made Easy” and guided students through a hands-on workshop using Jamovi.

The event concluded with a reminder from Dean Alvarez to put learning into practice, stating, β€œI hope whatever you learned will not just stay here and be left behind. Instead, you will apply it.”
