The College of Management and Business Technology (CMBT) of the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) recognized 307 student awardees from the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship programs during a Recognition Ceremony for Academic and Non-Academic Achievers held today, September 29, 2025, at the Mini Convention Center, Sumacab Campus.

The event celebrated student excellence in various fields, acknowledging not only high academic performance but also achievements in leadership, community service, and extracurricular engagement for the 2nd semester of the current academic year.

In her message, Dr. Sarah Alvarez, Dean of CMBT, emphasized the college’s commitment to developing well-rounded individuals prepared for the demands of the professional world.

“It is not enough to be intelligent alone; we also need responsible, ethical, and socially aware citizens,” she stated, underscoring the importance of integrity, discipline, and social responsibility as essential components of true excellence.

Representing the awardees, Mr. Jerome Taruc, a student from the BS Human Resource Management program, encouraged his fellow students to embrace the learning journey with resilience and a growth mindset.

“We should love the process and every opportunity to improve ourselves, because even failures give us lessons to grow,” he shared.

The event concluded with a reminder from Dr. Racquel Mallare, Guidance Coordinator of CMBT BSBA/BS Entrepreneurship, for achievers to continue striving for growth, stating, “Keep striving, keep learning, and keep aiming higher.”
