I and Level II AACCUP Accreditation Visit for six programs of NEUST Papaya, San Antonio, and Talavera Off-Campuses concluded today, October 30, 2025, through a virtual conference.

The Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology programs of NEUST Papaya Off-Campus, and the Bachelor of Elementary Education program of NEUST San Antonio Off-Campus, underwent Level I Accreditation Survey.

Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology programs were subjected to Level II Accreditation Survey.

All programs were assessed through the ten (10) accreditation criteria of AACCUP.

In her observations, AACCUP Overall Coordinator Dr. Erlinda Jiz De Ortega highlighted her commendations on the six curricular programs evaluated.

She lauded the dedication and collaborative spirit of NEUST faculty and staff in fulfilling their responsibilities with excellence and professionalism in pursuit of quality education.

Dr. De Ortega also reminded the university that the findings and recommendations provided by the AACCUP team are meant to serve as vital instruments for institutional growth and continuous improvement.

“Accreditation is like a camera. Focus on what’s important, capture the good times, develop the negative, and if they don’t work out well, take another shot,” Dr. De Ortega shared.

In response, Atty. Larry Ortiz, NEUST President Emeritus and San Antonio Off-Campus Administrator; Atty. Rocelie Cipriano-Campos, Talavera Off-Campus Administrator; and Dr. Albert Bulawan, Papaya Off-Campus Administrator, expressed their gratitude to the accreditors for their insights and recommendations.

“We are beyond grateful for the opportunity to improve our ratings. Rest assured that your recommendations and suggestions are all well-taken by and into our hearts,” said Dr. Bulawan.

In her closing message, President Dr. Rhodora Jugo reaffirmed NEUST’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and continuous institutional enhancement.

“The observations and recommendations from our experts serve as proof of our ongoing efforts and roadmap for growth. We embrace these recommendations wholeheartedly, recognizing them as a valuable opportunity to enhance our programs, enrich our faculty expertise, and deepen the learning experiences of our students,” Dr. Jugo concluded.

Through this milestone, NEUST continues to uphold its dedication to providing quality, inclusive, and globally competitive education—a vital step toward global goals and sustainable academic excellence.
