NEUST reinforces commitment to quality and excellence thru management review

As part of its annual quality management activities and continued adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards, the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), through the Quality Assurance (QA) Office, conducted a Management Review to present and discuss the results of the ISO Internal Audits.

Attended by university key officials and unit heads, the Management Review provided an opportunity to identify areas for improvement, address non-conformities, and reaffirm the university’s commitment to sustaining excellence and delivering quality services to its stakeholders.

According to Dr. Angelo Santos, Head of the Local and International Accreditation Office, “Through this review, we ensure that our institutional practices remain aligned with our quality objectives and the strategic directions of our university,” highlighting the importance of institutional alignment.

During the activity, Ms. Laida Bartolome, Planning and Development Officer II, presented the Risk Assessment for FY 2024–2025, which included the identified risk sources, levels, and categories.

Dr. Eugene Partoza, University Dentist, discussed the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) objectives and status, highlighting best practices observed and significant findings for improvement.

Meanwhile, Mr. Niño Alvarez, University Internal Auditor, presented the best practices and significant findings across all units and departments, along with recommendations and the overall performance rating, while Mr. Joseph Tantoco, Internal Auditor, provided updates on the status of ISO documentation and the tracking of client feedback—all in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

A separate session was also conducted to address queries and clarifications regarding the presented findings.
