To further enhance employment facilitation services—including job matching, career guidance, and labor market information—for students, graduates, and jobseekers, the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region III formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held on November 17, 2025 at the University Conference Room, NEUST Sumacab Campus.

NEUST Vice President for Administration, Business, and Finance, Atty. Bembol Castillo underscored the university’s strong commitment to supporting its graduates. “This partnership will advance the interest and welfare of every NEUST graduate as we work together to provide better opportunities for their future,” he stated.

The program continued with the ceremonial MOA signing, followed by the Statement of Commitment delivered by University President Dr. Rhodora Jugo and DOLE Region III Senior Labor Employment Officer Jose Jommel Yabot.

Dr. Jugo emphasized NEUST’s dedication to nation-building and employment support, saying, “This MOA marks the formal start of our partnership with DOLE as we work together to open more opportunities for our graduates and alumni.”

In response, Mr. Yabot reaffirmed DOLE’s support for the university and its graduates, noting that DOLE will continue to collaborate with NEUST to expand programs and services that promote employment and career development.

Also present at the event were Dr. Filip Carlo Bolisay, NEUST Director of the Alumni Office; Dr. Elenita Paet, NEUST Director of the Moral Recovery and Spiritual Uplift Program (MRSUP); Ms. Estrella De Lara, Labor and Employment Officer III of DOLE Region III; Mr. Jose Jommel G. Yabot, Senior Labor Employment Officer; and Ms. Huxley B. Molina, Ms. Maria Joshua Tungala, and Mr. Raven Leanne G. Arma from the Government Internship Program (GIP).

The ceremony concluded with both institutions expressing confidence that this strengthened partnership will pave the way for meaningful employment pathways and sustainable development for NEUST graduates and the wider community.
