The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), through the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) and the Literary, Culture, and the Arts Development Center (LCADC), conducted a send-off ceremony for the university delegates to the Culture and the Arts Association of State Universities and Colleges (CAASUC) Region III Regional Culture and Arts Festival 2025 on November 19, 2025, at the University Amphitheatre, NEUST Sumacab Campus.
NEUST will participate in the CAASUC III Festival, to be held from November 22 to 26, 2025, at Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU).
Delegates will compete in different categories under Literary and Performing Arts, Music, Dance, Visual Arts, and Pageantry.
In her message of support, University President Dr. Rhodora Jugo expressed appreciation to the delegates for representing NEUST and reiterated the university’s expectations for disciplined and excellent participation.
“Bilang mga alagad ng sining at tagapagtaguyod ng kultura, nananahan sa inyong puso na kayo ay maging huwaran ng husay, ang maging ehemplo na nagpapakita ng galing ng isang NEUSTian,” she stated.
Dr. Jugo also expressed her pride in the delegates and emphasized the importance of their participation in regional competitions, noting its contribution to students’ academic and co-curricular development.
The ceremony included the turnover of the university flag, presentation of delegates and coaches, orientation, and the solidarity dance.
Prior to the program, a send-off mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. William S. Villaviza, Director of the Mission Ministry and Parochial Vicar in Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija, who reminded the delegates to utilize their talents for the university and in service to the community.
The activity was attended by NEUST key officials, including Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Feliciana Jacoba, Vice President for Administration, Business, and Finance Atty. Bembol Castillo, OSAS Dean Dr. Ma. Lourdes Quijano, LCADC Director Mr. Jose Mangahas, Jr., faculty-coaches, and other university representatives.
NEUST extends its support to the delegates as they prepare for the upcoming regional festival.
