“Your trust and confidence in Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) reaffirm our mission and vision to nurture a community of globally competent learners, innovative researchers, and responsible leaders who contribute meaningfully to society,” said University President Dr. Rhodora Jugo, as the institution formalized its partnership with Prince of Songkla University (PSU) of Thailand through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in a virtual signing ceremony on November 19, 2025.

The MOU establishes a framework for collaboration across research, instruction, curriculum development, academic mobility, and knowledge exchange, guided by principles of mutual benefit, shared academic interests, and complementary activities.

Under this five-year agreement, NEUST and PSU will launch initiatives including faculty and student exchanges, joint research projects, international seminars and conferences, workshops, and the sharing of expertise in higher education management, reinforcing both institutions’ commitment to advancing global academic engagement.

These initiatives provide students the opportunity to participate in international programs, collaborative research, and academic exchanges, and faculty members to benefit from professional development, cross-institutional mentorship, and involvement in joint research, enhancing their skills and contribution to higher education.

The MOU also provides a flexible and forward-looking framework for future joint programs, expanded international engagement, and strengthened institutional linkages, positioning NEUST and PSU as key contributors to regional and global higher education collaboration and innovation.
