The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)- Higher Education Development Fund Staff, conducted an Inspection and Validation of funded projects on November 19, 2025, at the Sumacab Campus, Cabanatuan City.
The activity aimed to ensure that all CHED-funded equipment and facilities granted to NEUST were properly delivered, documented, and utilized in accordance with project guidelines.
University President Dr. Rhodora Jugo delivered a message and expressed NEUSTโs appreciation to CHED, saying, โWe are grateful for the commissionโs continued support because these funded projects greatly help us maintain academic excellence and improve our services.โ
The event proceeded with the Presentation of Equipment Documentation, followed by the inspection and tagging of HEDF stickers on the granted equipment in the College of Engineering, specifically in the Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering laboratories.
The program continued with the Equipment Turnover Ceremony, where CHED and NEUST formally signed the turnover documents for the delivered equipment.
CHED representatives present during the activity were Project Evaluator Officer III Carolyne Patayan, Project Development Officer I Marie Agafae Dela Cruz, and Project Technical Staff III Kristine Joie Cuellar.
Also present during the inspection were Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Feliciana Jacoba, Vice President for Administration, Business, and Finance Atty. Bembol Castillo, Director of the Research Department Dr. Marilene Hipolito, officials and staff from the University Supplies Office and Procurement Office, and faculty members from the Engineering Department.
