As part of its continuous effort to support the Department of Education (DepEd) in guiding the youth toward informed career decisions and meaningful professional aspirations, the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) participated in the DepEd Gapan Career Caravan 2025 held on November 26, 2025, at Juan R. Liwag Memorial High School in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija.
NEUST was among the 13 colleges, universities, and TESDA-accredited institutions across Region III that provided career orientation by presenting their academic programs, scholarship opportunities, admission procedures, and other essential information designed to help Grade 12 students choose the right program and institution as they prepare for graduation.
Represented by Licel Galang and Elizabeth Martin of the Strategic Communications Unit, together with Student Exchange On-the-Job Trainees Tuiong Tian Hoai Than and Nguyen The Loc from Dong Nai Technology University, Vietnam, NEUST also showcased its achievements, university festivities, and student-centered activities through audiovisual presentations.
The team likewise engaged with students by answering their queries about available programs and future opportunities at the University.
DepEd Schools Division Office of Gapan Guidance Counselor Mr. Remo Angeles emphasized the significance of holding initiatives like the Career Caravan, highlighting its role in helping learners make well-informed choices.
βAlam po natin ang importance ng proper career planning para sa mga bata, at ito pong activity na ito ay in support sa ating mga learners para matulungan natin sila to decide kung ano bang career path ang tama para sa kanila,β he said.
