The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Psychology Department celebrated the success of its newly registered Psychometricians from the September 2025 Board Licensure Examination for Psychologist and Psychometrician (BLEPP) with a testimonial dinner at Nieto Hall, NEUST Sumacab Campus.

This event also marked a historic milestone as NEUST recorded a 100% passing rate for its first batch of BLEPP examinees.

Dr. Feliciana Jacoba, the University Vice President for Academic Affairs, expressed her pride in the departmentโ€™s remarkable achievement, highlighting that it reflects the dedication and hard work of the entire NEUST community.

โ€œMagandang araw sa lahat. As the Vice President for Academic Affairs, I am truly proud of this historic milestone, and I thank you for your unwavering commitment to excellence,โ€ she said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mario Abesamis Jr., CAS Dean, recognized the crucial role of faculty mentors in guiding the studentsโ€™ success and affirmed CAS as a home of excellence.

โ€œTrue success is not only about reaching the peak, but it is also about bringing others with you as you rise,โ€ he said.

The event also honored the topnotchers, Chester Martinez and Matthew Mercado, both of whom placed Top 7 with a score of 88.20%.
