The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Psychology Department celebrated the success of its newly registered Psychometricians from the September 2025 Board Licensure Examination for Psychologist and Psychometrician (BLEPP) with a testimonial dinner at Nieto Hall, NEUST Sumacab Campus.
This event also marked a historic milestone as NEUST recorded a 100% passing rate for its first batch of BLEPP examinees.
Dr. Feliciana Jacoba, the University Vice President for Academic Affairs, expressed her pride in the departmentโs remarkable achievement, highlighting that it reflects the dedication and hard work of the entire NEUST community.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mario Abesamis Jr., CAS Dean, recognized the crucial role of faculty mentors in guiding the studentsโ success and affirmed CAS as a home of excellence.
โTrue success is not only about reaching the peak, but it is also about bringing others with you as you rise,โ he said.
The event also honored the topnotchers, Chester Martinez and Matthew Mercado, both of whom placed Top 7 with a score of 88.20%.
