The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology Retirees Association, in collaboration with the PINAG-ISANG SAMAHAN NG MGA ALUNNI NG NEUST INC. (PAG-ASA), held the NEUST Retirees’ Year-End Get-Together on December 17, 2025, at the PAG-ASA Hall, Sumacab Campus, Cabanatuan City.

The event aimed to celebrate the Holiday season, foster camaraderie among retirees, and discuss the future direction of the association.

University President Dr. Rhodora Jugo delivered a message emphasizing the four P’s of Christmas: Pasasalamat, Pagmamahalan, Pagpapatawad, and Pag-asa, stating, “Looking forward sa lahat ng mga magandang biyaya natin sa kapaskuhan, at sa darating pang mga taon.”

She emphasized gratitude for shared experiences, encouraged forgiveness, and underscored hope as the guiding value for the coming years.

Dr. Feliciano Bolisay discussed the formalization of the election of officers and shared future plans and directions for the NEUST Retirees Association.

The program proceeded with the election and oath-taking of the newly elected executive officers and board of trustees of the association.

The elected officers for 2026–2027 are Mr. Leon Torres as President, Engr. Marcos Manuel as Vice President, Dr. Hernina Medrano as Secretary, Dr. Manuela Gutierrez as Treasurer, Engr. Mary Fajardo as Auditor, Dr. Zenaida Villariaza as Business Manager, Dr. Mercedes Trajano as PRO, Dr. Dorcas Avila and Dr. Paz Pascual as Muses, and Dr. Angel Pangilinan as Escort.

The board members are Engr. Feliciano Bolisay, Engr. Ernesto Dela Cruz, Dr. Yolanda Camaya, Dr. Miguel Santos, Mr. Severino Fortunato, Engr. Randy Perez, and Dr. Beatriz Cruz, with Mr. Numeriano Sanqui as Adviser.

The gathering concluded with expressions of gratitude, fellowship, and shared hope for a meaningful and a united retirees community.
