The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), through the College of Education, conducted a Korean Language and Culture Workshop for faculty members and students of the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) major in English on December 17, 2025, at Nieto Hall, Sumacab Campus.

The activity was organized in partnership with Sunchon National University (SCNU) of South Korea as part of the academic collaboration established between the two institutions.

The workshop was led by COED Dean Dr. Jo Neil Peria and facilitated by Ms. Bora Lee, Mr. Dominador Dizon, Jr., and Ms. Park So-hyun of SCNU, who contributed to the delivery of the Korean language and cultural sessions.

The session focused on basic Korean language instruction, including Hangul, commonly used classroom expressions, and selected teaching practices applied in Korean schools, and included discussions on contemporary approaches to language teaching and classroom strategies for managing multicultural learning environments.

The workshop concluded with an interactive cultural activity, marking the first student-centered academic program implemented under the NEUST–SCNU partnership.
