The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) conducted a site inspection at the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) on January 5, 2026, in connection with the proposed infrastructure projects in the University.

NEUST President Dr. Rhodora R. Jugo welcomed DOST Undersecretary Dr. Teodoro Gatchalian and his team, together with representatives from DPWH, who evaluated the proposed sites for the two projects: College of Public Administration and Disaster Management Classroom and Laboratory Building at the Sumacab Campus, and the Smart Multi-Purpose Halls with Integrated Hostel Accommodation at the Gabaldon Campus.

Also present during the site inspection were Atty. Bembol Castillo, Vice President for Administration, Business, and Finance; Engr. Allan Abenoja Jr., Director of the Infrastructure Development Office; and Dr. Kenneth Armas, Director of the Planning and Development Office.

Following the inspection at the Sumacab Campus, Undersecretary Gatchalian and his team proceeded to the NEUST Gabaldon Campus for a separate site visit, led by Campus Director Dr. Franklin Dumayas.
