“As you begin your OJT journey, remember the acronym CICT—Commit to Excellence, Innovate and Adapt, Cultivate Professionalism and Collaboration, and Thrive as Future Tech Leaders,” said NEUST President Dr. Rhodora Jugo, giving a new take on the CICT acronym as she addressed more than 400 On-the-Job Training (OJT) students during the Pre-Deployment Orientation Seminar (PDOS) of the College of Information and Communications Technology (CICT) held today, January 21, 2026, at the University Closed Gymnasium, NEUST Sumacab Campus.

The seminar aimed to prepare students for their workplace immersion through timely and relevant discussions on mental health and awareness of the Safe Spaces Act.

The activity featured Mr. Crisanto de Jesus, Guidance Counselor of NEUST Atate Campus, and Atty. Levi Agulan, Private Practitioner and Notary Public, as guest speakers who provided talks on professional readiness and social responsibility as trainees transition to industry environments.
