NEUST listed as ‘reporter’ institution in THE World University Rankings 2026
Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) earned a “Reporter Status” in the 2026 edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, marking the fourth time the university has received the designation.
NEUST was among 3,118 universities worldwide that participated in this year’s evaluation conducted by Times Higher Education.
Of the higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Philippines, six secured ranked positions, while 42 institutions, including NEUST, were granted “Reporter Status.”
In Central Luzon, NEUST was one of six HEIs recognized with the designation, along with Bulacan State University, Central Luzon State University, City College of San Fernando, Gordon College, and Tarlac Agricultural University.
The recognition is based on the THE World University Rankings’ assessment of research-focused universities using five key performance indicators: teaching, research environment, research quality, international outlook, and industry engagement.
“Reporter Status” is conferred on institutions that have submitted the required data for assessment but did not meet the full eligibility criteria for inclusion in the ranked list.
This milestone demonstrated NEUST’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, continuous improvement, and global competitiveness.
