The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) reinforced its dedication to innovation through a partnership with Everything Green aimed at developing sustainable technologies that convert coconut agricultural waste into useful materials.

The collaboration was officially sealed through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed on February 9, 2026, at the University Conference Room, NEUST Sumacab Campus.

In her message, NEUST President Dr. Rhodora Jugo highlighted that innovation should extend beyond mere technological progress and instead contribute to addressing global challenges through sustainable practices and responsible care for the environment.

โ€œInnovation is no longer just about technological advancement, but about how we respond to global challenges through sustainability, responsible stewardship, and partnerships that benefit society, the nation, and future generations,โ€ she said.

Dr. Jugo also expressed full institutional support for the partnership, underscoring a shared vision that benefits society, the nation, and future generations, and concluded with a message of unity and optimism for the collaborationโ€™s impact.

Meanwhile, Ms. Camille Albarracin, founder of Everything Green, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with NEUST, noting that the partnership grew from shared values and an initial meeting during technology business incubation trainings.

โ€œThis collaboration will strengthen our efforts to develop sustainable, locally grounded solutions by bridging academic research, applied technology, and community-based social enterprise,โ€ she said.
