The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology Honor Society held the Annual and Recognition Program for Academic Year 2024โ€“2025 with the theme โ€œDrums of Recognition: Resounding the Beat of Excellenceโ€ on February 13, 2026, at the University Closed Gym, Sumacab Campus.

The activity aimed to recognize the academic achievements of students and affirm excellence formed through discipline, perseverance, and commitment.

In her message, Dean of the Office of Student Affairs and Services, Dr. Ma. Lourdes Quijano, emphasized the meaning of recognition, stating, โ€œRemember that certificates and honors do not define who you are. They merely reflect the journey you have taken so far.โ€

The program proceeded with the awarding of medals to a total of 1,642 student awardees from different colleges across all campuses in recognition of their academic excellence, outstanding performance, and dedication throughout Academic Year 2024โ€“2025.

Mr. Lorenz Estolano, President of the Federation of University Student Organization, delivered the Challenge to the Achievers and emphasized responsibility beyond recognition, stating, โ€œTandaan ninyo na ang tunay na dangal ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa medalya at sertipiko, kundi sa kung paano ninyo ginagamit ang inyong kakayahan [at] talino upang makapaglingkod at makapagbigay ng liwanag sa iba.โ€

The event concluded with a message from NEUST Honor Society President Sherwin Paulo Gan, who highlighted gratitude, service, and commitment to continuous improvement, stating, โ€œWe should celebrate with the drums of recognition, let’s resound our beat or our spark sa studies natin, and let’s leave the university na mayroon tayong NEUST heart.โ€
