Strengthening its commitment to experiential learning and industry linkages, the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) formalized a partnership with the Artillery Regiment of the Philippine Army through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) today, February 16, 2026, at Fort Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.
The agreement establishes a collaborative framework that will allow NEUST students under the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management to undergo On-the-Job Training (OJT) within the Army Artillery Regiment (AAR), providing them with exposure to leadership practices, organizational systems, and institutional discipline.
The partnership aims to further enhance students’ professional competencies, strengthen their work ethics, and develop adaptability in a highly organized and disciplined environment.
Representing the AAR was Regiment Commander BGen Hubert Acierto, PA; while NEUST was represented by University President Dr. Rhodora Jugo, together with OJT and Career Development Center Director Prof. Randy Banez, NEUST Fort Magsaysay Campus Director Dr. Angelita Maza, and NEUST Fort Magsaysay Campus BSBA Program Chair Dr. Ma. Florisa Quijano.
This collaboration reflects NEUST’s continued pursuit of strong institutional linkages that bridge academic instruction and real-world experience—empowering students to become competent, resilient, and service-oriented professionals.
