The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology hosted a benchmarking activity for the Tarlac State University Office of the University Health Services on March 12, 2026, at the University Infirmary, Sumacab Campus, Cabanatuan City.
The benchmarking activity aimed to learn about the institutionβs best practices and processes in becoming an accredited YAKAP Provider System.
The visit also intended to gain insights into the standards, requirements, operational procedures, and implementation strategies adopted by the university in the accreditation and delivery of YAKAP services.
During the activity, the participants discussed the accreditation requirements and application process, operational guidelines for YAKAP services, staffing and facility requirements, as well as the best practices and challenges encountered during implementation.
The delegation from Tarlac State University was composed of Mr. William Salak, Nurse 2, Ms. Ma. Erika Ramos, Technical Assistant, and Ms. Rachelle Ayn Meehleib, Job Order staff from the Office of the University Health Services.
The benchmarking activity strengthened coordination and knowledge sharing between the two universities in improving the delivery of health services and preparing for YAKAP Provider System accreditation.
