“Our awardees represent the very best of what NEUST aims to cultivate: competence, character, and a commitment to making a positive impact,” said Dr. Filip Carlo Bolisay, Director of the Alumni and Placement Office, during the Outstanding Alumni 2026 awarding ceremony on the second day of the 28th Charter Celebration and 118th Founding Anniversary held at the Mini Convention Center, Sumacab Campus.
Twelve alumni of the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) were recognized for their exemplary achievements and significant contributions in their respective fields, namely: Dr. Alexander Neri (Basic Education), Mr. Angelus Edward Dela Rosa Jose (Business Administration), Engr. Teresita Gabaldon (Civil Engineering), Capt. Arlene Catalan Cañamo (Criminology), Engr. Feliciano Bolisay Jr. (Electrical Engineering), Dr. Gabriel Rafael Viray (Health), Mr. Darwin Salonga (Information and Communication Technology), Engr. Jonald Jimenez (Mechanical Engineering), Mr. Keneth Dela Cruz Flores (Nursing), Ms. Julieta Rañeses (Public Administration), Atty. Ethel Catherine Jean Angeles-Roxas (Public Service), and Ms. Mylene Somera (Vocational Technical Education).
Dr. Bolisay also emphasized the importance of using success to serve others, noting, “You [awardees] remind us that the true measure of success lies not only in what we achieve, but in how we use those achievements to uplift others.”
The recognition honors NEUST graduates who have demonstrated excellence, leadership, and dedication in their professions, bringing pride and inspiration to the University community.
