After three years of continuous development, the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) Graduate School official journal, The QUEST: Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Development, has been indexed in the Andrew Gonzalez Philippine Citation Index (AGPCI), with recognition valid until December 2028.
Founded and managed by the NEUST Graduate School, The QUEST continues to follow its strategic direction toward achieving a higher indexing status.
The journal is currently indexed in several national and international platforms, including Google Scholar, ICI Journals Master List, Crossref, Philippine E-Journal, OpenAIRE, Zenodo, and Academia.edu.
Its growing impact is reflected in its digital engagement, recording over 159,000 event counts and 60,000 views based on Google Analytics data.
The journal’s readership also spans across the Philippines, the United States, China, Indonesia, Singapore, and India, indicating its expanding global reach.
Dr. Allen Paul Esteban, Project Leader and Founding Editor-in-Chief, expressed gratitude to the editorial board, reviewers, authors, and the entire NEUST community for their collective contribution to the achievement, emphasizing that this milestone serves as a foundation for pursuing inclusion in higher indexing platforms.
“This achievement is the result of the collective effort of our editorial board, reviewers, authors, the NEUST Graduate School, and the entire NEUST community,” he said.
“We are deeply grateful for your continued support. This is just the beginning, and we remain committed to further elevating The QUEST toward higher indexing platforms such as Web of Science and Scopus.”
AGPCI is a national indexing system that recognizes high-quality scholarly publications in the Philippines, and inclusion affirms that The QUEST meets standards in editorial quality, peer review, and research relevance.
Indexing in a recognized citation database also ensures that published research becomes more accessible to a wider academic audience, increasing its visibility and potential for citation.
This recognition marks a significant step in strengthening NEUST’s research visibility and credibility within the national academic community.
