In line with its efforts to strengthen technology integration in education, the Management Information Systems (MIS) personnel of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) underwent a technical training on website creation and development on April 6, 2026, at the Techno Hub, NEUST Sumacab Campus.
The training, facilitated by Geraldine Tan and Lawrence Delupio of GMST Inc., highlighted the role of a Learning Management System (LMS) in organizing learning processes, improving access to education, enhancing communication, tracking student progress, and supporting flexible, technology-driven teaching and learning.
Tan emphasized that learning is no longer confined within the four walls of the classroom, noting that students can access materials anytime and anywhere, while educators can monitor progress and provide timely feedback.
โI strongly believe that a Learning Management System is more than just a digital platformโit is a tool that supports how we teach and learn,โ she said.
The MIS aims to integrate the LMS to support the Universityโs Graduate School, College of Education, and Curriculum Development and Evaluation, strengthening NEUSTโs digital education initiatives and academic support systems.
