Initial Meeting between the NEUST and the Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP)

On October 6, 2021, an initial meeting regarding the forthcoming partnership between the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology and the Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), Indonesia was held. The meeting was initiated by Dr. Rusnardi Rahmat Putra, head of the UNP International office with Mr. Afdal served as the event’s facilitator.

During the meeting, there was a presentation of the institution’s profiles and program offerings of the two partner universities. Then, the contents of the Memorandum of Understanding and Memorandum of Agreement were comprehensively discussed with the following agenda:

 Visiting Professor
 Faculty and Student Exchange with Credit Transfer
 Research Collaboration
 Extension/ Community Services Collaboration

As a concluding part, all the representatives from both institutions were introduced. They are as follows: Atty. Eric Claudio (Director, NEUST OIDIL); Mr. John Rowell Obligado (TA-OIDIL); Dr. Mercedes Santos (Chairperson HM); Engr. Nathaniel Oliveros (Dean CoE); Kelvin Julius Nueda (Chairperson TM); Alma Pia Garcia (focal person international linkages – CMBT); Gina Lorenzo – Focal Person for international linkages – CoE); Dr. Rusnardi Rahmat Putra (Head of international office -UNP); Mr Afdal – (Office Staff UNP); Mr. Trisna Putra (Head of Tourism Department -UNP); Mr. Dedi Supendra – Educational Technology; and Faculty and lecturers of NEUST and UNP.
