MOA Signing for Faculty and Student Exchange with Credit Transfer and Research Collaboration Program between the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology and Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, Indonesia

The virtual MOA signing between the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Tecnology, under the leadership of Dr. Feliciana P. Jacoba, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, Indonesia represented by Dr. Jebul Suroso, was successfully completed on August 31, 2021, thru the persistent effort of the Office of International and Domestic Institutional Linkages headed by Atty. Eric G. Claudio.

The objectives of the agreement are as follows:

 To provide the operation of the internationalization activities of
both universities in South East Asia;
 To provide the needed venue and vision for innovative delivery
using diversified methods and technologies; and
 To provide faculty and student mobilization on both parties in
terms of educational research collaboration by using means
and modes like virtually which is legally acceptable and health
risk compliant for both parties.

Before the signing of agreement, the NEUST VPAA, Dr. Rhodora R. Jugo, gave the opening remarks, while Atty. Eric Claudio did the reading of the guidelines for credit transfer program and Mr. June Christian Reguyal was assigned to read the timeline for credit transfer program. The online activity would not be complete without the important messages from the NEUST President, Dr. Feliciana P. Jacoba and from the Rector of the UMP, Dr. Jebul Suroso.

The presentation of the faculty members who would be involved in the Faculty and Student Exchange with Credit Transfer and Research Collaboration Program was acted upon by the dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Jean Guillasper and Dr. NS. Umi Solikhah, the dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, Indonesia. After the MOU signing, the virtual activity was concluded by the Vice Rector for Academic and Partnership Affairs of UMP, Ir. Aman Suyadi.
